Job Summary:
The Program Manager is the senior staff member responsible for managing all staff within their regional area at Developmental Disabilities Ministries, Inc. (DDM). This role ensures the implementation of all DDM, DCH, and DBHDD policies and procedures and ensures DDM provides high-quality, person-centered services. The Program Manager is responsible for upholding and promoting DDM’s ministry, mission, and values, fostering growth to assist families seeking Christian homes. They are accountable for overall program quality and compliance for DDM services, including CRA, CLS, and other services, ensuring successful program outcomes and financial performance within their region.
Skills Required:
- Passion for the ministry of DDM to serve people with disabilities.
- Ability to train, obtain approval of host homes providers through DBHDD, and supervise Host Home providers and Host Home and Group Home Programs staff.
- Effective communication skills with the public, government agencies, parents, residents, and staff.
- Attention to detail, especially in reporting to government agencies and developing/following policies and procedures.
- General knowledge of budgeting, money management, housekeeping, meal planning, nutrition, and hygiene.
- Desire to collaborate as a team player within the agency.
- Ability to handle stress and remain calm in problem situations and emergencies.
- Proficiency in developing and completing electronic documentation, preferably with experience using Therap.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Special Education, or equivalent experience (defined as five years of paid experience in providing quality assurance and/or direction, development and implementation, direct supervision, and monitoring of staff).
- At least 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid Georgia driver’s license (with no more than 2 driving violations in the past 3 years) prior to employment.
- Receive satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report, Criminal Record Check, Physician’s Statement, and TB test.
- CPR/First Aid Certification - Adult
- Proficiency in Office 365 and electronic document storage.
- Ability to demonstrate principles of meal planning and preparation, personal hygiene, proper manners, personal conduct, and good grooming.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Supervisory experience.
- Flexibility and teamwork skills.
- Experience or training in the fields of Developmental Disabilities, Mental Health, Special Education, or Social Services.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a valid green card.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
