Direct Support Professional (Part time)

- Shift 1: 4PM -10PM Monday - Friday
- Shift 2: 9AM -7PM every other Saturday and Sunday
Pay Rate: $14 per hour, part time. $15 per hour, Full time

Position Summary: The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides critical support to individuals with developmental disabilities. This role requires flexibility, adaptability, and extensive knowledge of DDM policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to residents, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, and community involvement.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of residents by monitoring their physical and emotional health.
- Implement and follow individualized support plans (ISPs) for each resident, promoting their personal growth and development.
- Assist residents with medication administration and documentation in accordance with DDM policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and supportive environment, encouraging residents to achieve their goals and participate in community activities.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided, including daily logs, incident reports, and communication logs.
- Communicate effectively with other DSPs, supervisors, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of DDM policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring compliance in all aspects of care.
