RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DUTIES:
Under general supervision of Program Manager, prepares, cooks and delivers meals to the living units, operates and cleans food preparation equipment and maintains food product inventory. Prepares meals for Individuals served for FF Mueller Residential Center; prepares food to the appropriate textures; utilizes slicer to cut meats and cheeses, stove to cook, steamer unit to cook, mixer to blend, oven to bake food items, grill, etc. Prepares the appropriate amount of food to avoid waste. Inspects and cleans food preparation equipment, freezers, steam tables, food carts, food preparation areas; washes dishes, pots and pans; scrapes food; inspects dishes and utensils to ensure cleanliness. Delivers meals and kitchen supplies daily to residential cottages. Monitors and completes order forms for cottage supplies to reduce waste. Shops at store for needed supplies, to maintain inventory of food products and kitchen supplies; assists in ordering and reviewing invoices; stores food products and supplies; prepares and maintains required records such as meal reports, food production/safety reports, etc. Attends in-service training sessions as required; attends staff meetings; performs other related duties as assigned, to include but not limited to: serving on committees. Lifts and moves up to 50 lbs. safely.
PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma Or Equivalent
At Least One Year Experience In Institutional Food Preparation Methods/Procedures
Valid Driver's License With 4 Or Less Points
Ability To Lift And Carry 50 Lbs. Safely

Negative Results Of A T-Spot TB Test And Drug Screening
Satisfactory Results Of Local And State Records Checks
Satisfactory Work-Related Lifting Test
POST-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
Acquire/Maintain Applicable License/Certification/Registration In Good Standing; Attend Annual
Inservice Workshops; Orientation; Related Position Required Training
COMPENSATION: $15.84 - $22.32 Starting pay will be commensurate with experience. New employees are typically hired at a rate below the midpoint of the salary range.
