Your role as HR Manager
As the HR Manager, you will work closely with the HR Director to oversee and support all aspects of human resource practices and processes and will play an instrumental role with developing and implementing HR strategies for the organization. This position supports the management of key HR functions such as: employee relations, consultation and compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations, conducts employee investigations, maintains personnel budget, administers compensation, works collaboratively with payroll and benefits to retain HRIS systems data, conducts data analysis and develops HRIS reporting for management, and development and implementation of HR policies and procedures and organization job descriptions.

To excel as the HR Manager a robust skill set is essential. You should possess strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, accountability, and integrity. Your sound analytical skills help to effectively support high level decision making and problem solving. You have admirable ability to handle confidential information, build the trust of others, work under limited supervision, and exercise initiative and sound judgement. The right candidate is self-motivated with skills to manage fluctuating priorities and work under pressure to meet deadlines. Additionally, superior customer service and interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, will enhance your adeptness to partner with both external and internal stakeholders throughout the organization to effectively influence and manage conflict resolution and organizational change management.
A bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field required. Master’s degree a plus. Minimum of 3 years demonstrated HR experience required. Experience working in the field of human services or intellectual and developmental disabilities in a role of progressively greater levels of responsibility, including management of staff, is highly desired. Advanced knowledge of HRIS systems data management and reporting strongly preferred, experience with Paycom desired. MS Office with intermediate to advanced knowledge of Xcel required. Demonstrated knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Teams essential. HRCI and/or SHRM certification highly desired. This position does allow opportunity for hybrid remote work with 50% of time on site required.
