Are you the Program Manager for people with Intellecutual and Developmental Disabilities we're looking for?
To thrive as a Manager at Developmental Disabilities Resource Center, a combination of educational qualifications, hands-on experience, and essential skills is crucial. A BA/BS degree in a related field or a blend of education and experience is required, along with two years of paid or volunteer experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, and at least one year of supervisory experience preferred. A solid working knowledge of program planning and development is vital for success in this role. Additionally, you must demonstrate the ability to work effectively as a team member, providing support while also ensuring safety and well-being.
Physical capabilities are essential, including the ability to safely lift, pivot, transfer, and assist individuals across various settings, as well as frequently lifting 10 to 20 lbs. and occasionally 30 to 40 lbs. Your commitment to maintaining a safe environment will complement your organizational skills and drive the quality of care provided.
