Requirements
- Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ministry background preferred.
Skills
- Computer competency
- Time management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Leadership and decision-making abilities.
Qualifications
- Passion for working with young adults with IDD.
- Alignment with DEC’s mission.
- High moral character and judgment.
- English proficiency.
- Background check and computer skills.
Physical
- Ability to sit, walk stairs, lift 10-20 pounds, and drive.
Licenses
- Some training and certifications will be required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spiritual Support: Facilitate a weekly Bible class, transport and accompany residents to church weekly.
- Student Residents: Coordinate care plans, support, and communication with residents and families.
- Program Supervision: Manage Independent Living Specialists and ensure program supplies.
- Property Maintenance: Ensure compliance, conduct property rounds, manage repairs, and pool maintenance. Oversee rental unit cleaning and restocking.
- Record-keeping: Maintain expenditure records and visitor logs.
