You will make a difference for these amazing people by coordinating schedules for 4-6 employees that serve our individuals, helping with transportation to medical appointments, assisting with recordkeeping and providing direct care in Decatur, IL. If you have Direct Support Person (DSP) or CNA experience, this is a great advanced-level job for you!

Qualifications:
- Patience, dedication and a passion for caring for others
- Good decision-making skills
- Solid attendance record
- Computer skills and experience - Word, Excel, email
- Strong communication in writing and in person
Requirements:
- High School diploma/signed High School transcript including graduation date/G.E.D. - high school completion or equivalency
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
- Successfully complete and pass background check
- Weekend/holiday availability may be required
- Shift flexibility required
- One year as a successful DSP preferred, not required
Responsibilities:
- Orient and train new DSPs
- Schedule staff
- Transport and attend medical appointments
- Meal planning and grocery orders
- Oversee household inventory
- Be available and participate in on-call duties
