The ABA SCHEDULER is a vital part of the team as you will be focused on matching staff (Behavior Technicians) with our clients. The Scheduler evaluates client needs and BT availability to make appropriate matches and ensure excellent service for our clients. This is a full-time position. The schedule includes Sundays (working from home) and 4 weekdays (of your choosing) in the office.The ideal candidate will have experience in ABA operations or as a Behavior Technician with an understanding of the unique aspects of ABA scheduling. This is a high-volume position so we are looking for a professional who can maintain a strong phone presence and build relationships quickly.Position Responsibilities
- Coordination and scheduling of ABA therapy sessions
- Work closely with the clinical team to coordinate the staffing and scheduling of services of clients and staff
- Maintain up-to-date records of client and staff schedules
- Update the team on monthly hours and changes as appropriate
- Identify staffing needs and support recruitment of Behavior Therapists as needed
- Match Behavior Therapists' availabilities with the client's availability, location, and skills
- Enter authorizations and hours into our internal system
- Monitor contract fulfillment for each client based on authorized services
- Track and address cancellations
- Schedule make-up sessions
Qualifications
- Fluency in Spanish REQUIRED
- ABA experience REQUIRED
- Minimum of a High school diploma or equivalent
- Full-time availability (40 hours per week)
- Must be able to work from the DPI corporate office in Van Nuys, CA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
- Additional desired technical skills include Monday.com, healthcare/EMR, or scheduling software
- Must have 1-3 years of medical office experience doing scheduling for a hospital, ER/OR, or mobile clinical staff
- Must have excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills
- This position requires the ability to multi-task and have exceptional attention to detail

What is ABA?
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a branch of psychology that uses a scientific data-driven approach including behavioral procedures and techniques. The goals of ABA are:
- Reducing challenging behaviors
- Increasing socially significant behaviors
- Developing or improving activities of daily living (ADLs)
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder, which manifests itself during the first three years of life and will last the entire life cycle. The fundamental symptoms of autism are 1) Persistent deficiencies in communication and social interaction and 2) Restrictive and repetitive patterns of behavior, interests, or activities.

Salary: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: Full-Time 9:00am-6:00pm
