What are the responsibilities and job description for the Vice President of Case Management Programs position at Developmental Pathways Inc?
Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Vice President of Case Management (VP of CM) Programs to join our Case Management team! The VP of CM Programs will provide oversight, planning, and direction to the case management agency (CMA) programs and functions. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders, Executive staff, and the Board of Directors on program planning and implementation to define and execute strategies for effective and efficient case management. The VP of CM Programs will also help direct all aspects of service coordination, driving performance, quality outcomes, and alignment with federal and state case management principles, requirements, and practices for people with disabilities and their families.
This role offers a 40-hour workweek and includes the flexibility to work remotely, as well as the opportunity to collaborate in-person at our headquarters office in Aurora, CO, and/or at off-site locations.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree in public/business administration, health, social work, or a related field
- 10 years of a combination of education and experience in progressively responsible leadership roles
- Extensive record of senior leadership, including relevant work experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Five to ten years experience working within the Disability, Case Management, Medicaid, and/or Human Services system(s), including strong knowledge of related rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
- Excellent interpersonal, decision-making, and solid judgment skills
- Demonstrated success leading and developing staff, with proven abilities to stabilize teams, effectively manage change, facilitate collaboration, and achieve business results
- Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate
- Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance
- Ability to meet our driving requirements - no suspensions/ no more than two tickets in the past three years
Upon request, qualifying need, and approval, driving requirements may be waived in lieu of reliable transportation.

Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Provide direct leadership, supervision, and accountability for the operational effectiveness of the CMA teams
- Foster a culture that embraces teamwork, seamless communication, and high levels of morale; ensures that the organization-wide vision and strategy are clearly conveyed and that
- Attract, select, engage, and retain needed team talent; actively attend to ongoing workforce and succession planning
- Oversee day-to-day activities of supervised Directors as applicable; ensure they are meeting established goals and directives for their respective departments and following established policies and procedures
- Evaluate performance of direct reports through ongoing supervision and regular performance evaluations
- Routinely orchestrate and/or ensure ongoing professional development opportunities across the team.; manage and grow a team of professionals, creating individualized career paths and exposure opportunities for emerging talent
Vision, Strategy, Program Design
- With executive, CMA leadership & key stakeholder inputs, develop CMA business strategies and related priorities and operational plans, aligning strategic priorities and focus areas toward existing and future programming needs and landscape
- Direct related program development and execution for the defined service areas, staying informed on changing trends within related counties
- Identify, develop, implement, and monitor best practice program policies and procedures as directed by state, federal, and administrative codes and professional practice standards
- Evaluate CMA departmental structure and plans for continual improvement of the efficiency and effectiveness of their programs to support people with disabilities
- Oversee preparation of each departments budget; ensure continual improvement of the budgeting process by ensuring that departments management is educated on budgetary issues impacting their operations and performance
- Establish robust working relationships with executive leadership, peers, the Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders to include:
- Other CMAs providing services to individuals with disabilities
- State and local government officials
- Advocacy groups
- Other community partners
