If you are seeking a rewarding and fulfilling job, we are currently hiring for the position of Parent Wonders : Infant Family Support Specialist .
RESPONSIBILITIES :
As an Infant Family Support Specialist, you will be engaged in challenging and rewarding work with developmentally at-risk children (ages 0 to 3) and families in rural Champaign County. You will also be responsible for assessing family strengths and needs; partnering with families to develop individual service plans; conducting home visits and parent groups that promote positive, meaningful parent-child interaction, and recording child and parent progress. Each day, you will be engaged in a variety of rewarding work where you will play an integral role in the success of the company and our mission to support people to live a rich and meaningful life.
REQUIREMENTS :
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Early Childhood or a closely related field; Master’s preferred
Experience working with families, preferably experience with teen parent and other at-risk populations.
Knowledge of infant / toddler development and strong promotion, prevention and intervention foundation.
Ability to work with computer database systems.
Transportation and adequate auto insurance required.
Bilingual (Spanish / English) desired.
Full COVID-19 vaccination required.
HOURS :
40 hours a week
