Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of a Criminal Records Check
- Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to spend the majority of the workday standing.
- Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must have safe and reliable transportation for commuting to work sites.
- Ability/means to communicate and document important information.
Pay: Hourly
Pay Range: $13.75-$17 per hour
Employment Status: Part Time
Hours: Flexible; part-time hours will be scheduled as needed to fulfill facility cleaning needs.
Summary of Duties:
The Custodian is responsible for maintaining assigned facilities in a clean and orderly manner, completing tasks efficiently and on schedule.
JOB SKILLS
- Consistent attendance and on-time
- Displays flexibility in schedule to meet assigned duties
- Ability to operate janitorial equipment properly and safely
- Ability to dust, sweep, mop floors, or vacuum carpeted areas as required
- Understanding of different tools and chemicals used in the cleaning process
- Able to use detergents and chemicals safely
- Demonstrates ability to wash, clean, and sterilize areas and equipment as specified
- Ability to empty waste containers
- Wears attire appropriate to activity or setting
