While working in a supported setting, DSPs assist individuals with all aspects of their life. These include skills that are necessary to meet their physical needs; personal hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, ambulating, and eating. These may also include some more complex activities like; managing finances, medication management, housekeeping, and exercise of the mind and body.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age at the time of application.
- Must have a high school diploma/GED/equivalent or be enrolled in a general equivalency program at time of application
- Valid driver's license
- Valid and current state minimum auto insurance
- No prior experience is needed to apply.
Certifications (Company-paid training and certifications will be provided)
- Level One Medication Aide (L1MA).
- First Aid/CPR/AED
- Crisis Prevention
- DSP training modules (accessible through the online portal).
Pay Breakdown:
- Part-time: $20.00 per hour with opportunity for advancement
- Weekend only: $25.00 per hour**
- We recognize previous DSP experience and will compensate you for each applicable year!
- Mileage reimbursement
Availability:
We provide the option for both full-time and part-time positions, designed with flexibility to suit your schedule, while also ensuring that every other weekend availability is met to support the needs of the individuals.
- Evening availability: 2pm-11pm /-
- Overnight availability: 10pm-9am /-
- Weekend availability: Every other (required for FT/PT employees) or Weekend Only employees who work every weekend.
- Washington, Union MO, and Sullivan locations
Statuses:
Full Time= Employees working 30 or more hours per week
Part-Time = employees working less than 30 hours per week
Weekend only = must commit to required weekends
