We are seeking a Behavior Analyst Trainee (Graduate Intern) to join our team in San Luis Obispo!

- Offer training and technical support for parents in the areas of developmental disability services and behavioral support.
- Act as a resource to families by supporting the development of each child’s social, emotional, cognitive, language, and physical skills through guidance, observation, modeling, and training.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive mentorship from a Senior Clinical Supervisor, and the opportunity to receive restricted and unrestricted supervision hours
- Execute ABA therapy programs under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Deliver a high-quality level of clinical ABA services via direct and mid-level clinical work
- Assist supervising BCBA in conducting initial and ongoing assessments
- Assist supervising BCBA in writing treatment plans and assessment reports
- Record and manage accurate data on client progress
- Work directly with clients, observing Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) and Natural Environmental Teaching (NET)
- Will assist Center BCBA by preparing curriculum materials for the day: facilitate circle, art, language for learning, etc.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and education requirements to comply with BACB and/or college requirements for advanced degrees (e.g., MA, MS) and certifications (e.g., BCaBA, BCBA).
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program with ABA coursework.
- Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours weekly
- Experience working with children with developmental needs (preferred)
- Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
- Valid driver’s license
- Must pass a criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI)
- Current TB clearance
- Located near San Luis Obispo, CA
