DEVENISH NUTRITION is seeking to fill a full-time position in its Maquoketa, IA, location. The position is a Warehouse Worker and the hours will be 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This person will be responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, storing, and processing inventory. Their duties include organizing incoming and outgoing stock.
Duties to include, but not limited to:
1. Performs duties in a safe manner, observing all safety requirements and making safety a top priority.
2. Performs daily inspections of all material handling equipment and notify Lead/Supervisor of needed repairs.
3. Maintains qualification to operate all assigned equipment of the Distribution Center (i.e., forklifts and electric pallet jacks).
4. Maintains proper rotation of all inventories.
5. Pulls orders assigned with proper code dates.
6. Ensures compliance with the HACCP program and AIB gold standard.
7. Records all transactions.
8. Loads & unloads truck/trailers according to current work instructions and needs.
9. Off loads and counts pallets and trays.
10. Off loads, checks in, and receives in products and shipments.
11. Cleans, organizes and maintains Distribution Center.
12. Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
Experience driving a forklift, or ability to be trained quickly,
Proficient in reading & writing in English,
High attention to detail and ability to follow procedures,
Desire to work in a fast-paced and team-driven environment,
Ability to regularly lift up to 60lbs as required.
