As a Behavior Support Specialist (BSS) you will work with our Brandywine School students who have frequent challenging behaviors in a school setting which is located on our West Chester, PA campus.Every day as a Behavior Support Specialist you will:
Provide behavior management support to individuals in a school setting. Carry out specific interventions that are developed by the Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Transfer skills to individuals’ natural support in the least restrictive environment. Support teachers in managing student behaviors in the classroom.You will be offered....
Compensation: $22.50 - $25.65 (based upon experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm (52 week year round position) Environment that is supportive, educational and clinically focused. EDUCATION: Registered Behavior Technician certification or RBT eligible; required.. Bachelor’s degree in a human service field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: At least 1 year of work experience with children or adolescents with behavior challenges preferred. _Devereux has a zero-tolerance policy for abuse and maintains policies and procedures to systematically reduce the risk of abuse to occur in our organization.
