Branch Manager

Position Title: Branch Manager

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Full Time!!

Essential Functions

1. Supervises inside and outside sales personnel, mechanics/techs and office staff.
2. Generates direct sales with customers.
3. Manages branch expenses, including product purchases and margins, sales discounts and service sales and margins.
4. Builds and maintains customer and vendor relations.
5. Maintains branch safety, cleanliness and security.
6. Provides input to corporate executives for business planning.
7. Manages branch assets, inventory and systems in coordination with headquarters.

Education and Experience

1. Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business
2. Two to three years minimum experience in customer support or inside sales positions
3. Two to three years minimum experience as a supervisor / manager of 10 or more persons
4. Industry experience is a plus

6. Sales ability / persuasiveness (uses appropriate interpersonal styles and negotiations to gain agreement, acceptance or commitment from various parties inside and outside the organization)
7. Financial management skills (ability to understand and analyze financial data)
8. Safety and environmental management, knowledge and awareness of impacting employee, community and customer health
9. Sales ability / persuasiveness (uses appropriate interpersonal styles and communication to gain agreement, acceptance or commitment from various parties inside and outside the organization)

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

1. 24 hours on-call to customer calls
2. Normal office, warehouse and shop floor work environments
3. Supervision of others
4. Attention to detail.
5. Computer work.
