Delivery Driver - Amazon XL Packages - 401(k)* Education Assistance

DEVIL DOG DELIVERY LLC (Position located in New Berlin, WI).

Base pay of $21.25-22.25 per hour based on Non-DOT and DOT Regulated Licenses.

We have an approximate 10-hour shift start time at 10:30 am.

In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, a commitment to customer service, and the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading cargo. • Overtime – paid at time-and-a-half over 40 hours per week
• Expect 4x 10-hour shifts per week
• 1030 am start time
• Benefits – Delivery Associates - Full time are eligible for full health benefits. Eligibility begins 30 days upon hiring
• Paid every two weeks
• 2-weeks paid time off accumulated per year based on 40-hour work week (eligible after 90-day probation period) - some dates may be limited based on high volume requirements.
• We are closed 4 days per year (4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day)

A Typical Day: Load Vans every morning (50-100 large/bulky/heavy items) Deliver packages to houses, mobile home parks, apartments, and businesses.

• Meal and rest breaks are provided
• Mission completion, customer obsession, and being safe
• Must be able/willing to support rescue deliveries to help the team if needed

Requirements:

• Driver's license (Non-Probationary and/or DOT requirements based on position)
• Take a certified drug test
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 70 pounds and team lift heavier packages.
• Must be able to get in and out of a van routinely - over 40-100 stops (in all types of weather)
• Must be able to walk up flights of stairs with packages.
• Must be available to work weekends and high volume seasons; additional shifts for peak seasons is a requirement. Non-Peak operational days are Monday-Saturday
• Must be at least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must have a valid ID or valid US passport

Duties:

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks and vans, while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring that items are secured properly for transport.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and records of mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any potential delays.
• Handle heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Operate forklifts when necessary for loading or unloading goods in warehouse settings.
