What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Parking Attendant position at Devils Fork State Park?
JOB PURPOSE:
Under general supervision, assists with parking at a busy lake park.
- Accurately count available parking spots and communicate via radio
- Direct “guaranteed parking” users to their spots
- Ensure visitors comply with parking policies
- Provide directions when needed
- Provide excellent customer service
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- This position requires working in all weather conditions for extended periods of time
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Medium to heavy lifting
- Walking and standing on uneven terrain, crawling and working at heights
- Exposure to weather conditions, cleaning agents and other materials used in maintaining park facilities and grounds
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Position lasts from March - September 2025
Hourly Wage: $10.00 / Hour
This is a part time, NON-permanent field position, which works 20 hours per week and select holidays.
Will work 10 hours per day, Saturday and Sunday. Shifts start at 6:30AM and end at 5:30PM or start at 7AM and end at 6PM.
