DeVine provides technical and scientific support to government clients in Space Science, Atmospheric Science and Oceanography among other technical disciplines.
Our company is looking for a Scientific Programmer to join DeVine in a full time capacity. This position will be supporting a government customer, hence only US Citizens may be considered.
DeVine contributes to projects in remote sensing, modeling, and scientific analysis of the Earth’s atmosphere and ocean and land surfaces, as well as astronomy and astrometry. We help our clients test and operate space-based, air-based, subsurface, and land and ocean surface-based sensors. We also collaborate on projects that develop new remote sensing capabilities and new ways of analyzing data.

Required Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering
- 5 years’ experience writing software for the calibration, analysis, and processing of remote sensing data
- Fluency in FORTRAN, C, C , MATLAB, Python, and IDL programming languages
- Knowledge of SQL for data management and programming of FPGA or GPUs is desirable
- Current Secret Clearance or higher
- Position Type: Full-time, Must be U.S. Citizen
- Location: Washington, D.C

- Compensation: $110K to $130K per year salary range
