Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical/mechanical construction projects based on blueprints and specifications.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify potential cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates.
- Monitor project costs throughout the lifecycle of the project to ensure adherence to budgets.
- Review contracts and negotiate terms with subcontractors as needed.
- Provide support during the bidding process by answering questions from bidders.
Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in construction estimating.
- Bachelor's degree, tradecraft certification, or mulitple years of EXPERIENCE.
- Must be able to read schematics and electrical/mechanical blueprints.
