Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication therapy management and patient counseling.
- Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct immunization services as required and educate patients on vaccine benefits.
- Manage inventory levels of medications and supplies to ensure optimal stock availability.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop pain management plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in daily operations and workflow management.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication usage.
- Stay updated on clinical guidelines, drug interactions, and emerging therapies.
Qualifications
- Pharmacy residency or equivalent of 2 years experience in a clinic and/or hospital pharmacy setting is required.
- Current state pharmacy license
- 1 year of Epic experience
- Bachelor's Degree
