Position Overview
We are seeking a seasoned, multidimensional executive to serve as Chief Business & Strategy Officer (CBSO). Key Responsibilities
• Legal & Financial Strategy
• Lead corporate structuring, contract negotiation, M&A activity, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with legal counsel, lenders, and capital partners to structure deals and safeguard company interests
• Oversee capital deployment, investor relations, and financial controls
• Operational Infrastructure & Execution
• Build and scale internal systems across finance, HR, and property-level operations
• Guide operational leaders (GMs, culinary teams, facilities, admin) to ensure consistency and compliance
• Develop and enforce SOPs, KPI frameworks, and cross-department accountability
• Growth, Expansion, and Deal-Making
• Lead joint ventures, strategic partnerships, and multi-million-dollar capital raises
• Drive expansion efforts including lease negotiations, market analysis, and site selection
• Oversee brand/IP protections, licensing, and scalable operational frameworks
• Cross-Functional Leadership
• Serve as a strategic bridge between legal, finance, operations, and creative teams
• Navigate between 50,000-foot strategy and in-the-weeds execution with ease
• Represent the company externally in investor meetings, media, legal forums, and board presentations

Required Qualifications
• Education:
• JD or LLM from a top-tier law school
• MBA or significant financial leadership experience
• Experience:
• 10 years of senior-level leadership across hospitality, law, and finance
• Demonstrated success scaling hospitality concepts—restaurants, nightlife, or boutique hotels
• Proven record of capital raises, M&A, operational expansion, or brand exits
• Deep operational knowledge including labor law, licensing, lease structuring, and multi-unit management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in dynamic, high-growth environments
