Primary responsibilities :
Create strategies for growth that are in line with company objectives
Participate in preparing and administering annual working budget
Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and all other departments
Develops and implements a marketing plan which promotes new and repeat business
Complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect all operations
Oversees daily service operation and provide leadership and direction to meet company objectives
Develop effective service team including service writers, shop and mobile service technicians
Participate in recruiting, hiring, dismissal, training, and conducting annual performance reviews on all service employees
Maintain quality control to ensure customer satisfaction and compliance with OEM and industry standards
Understand and promote safety, environmental and company policies
Facilitate and maintain a level of professionalism within the work environment
Plan, track and review daily, weekly and monthly productivity and financial goals and implement changes as needed
Participate in training and educational opportunities offered by the company, remain current on operational, technical and strategical requirements to provide a high level of customer service
Assist service writers and parts personnel with job scheduling, quoting and customer interactions
Minimum Requirements :
Five years’ relevant management experience in the field of heavy-duty truck and / or bus service
Knowledge of basic business financial principles and practices
Ability to facilitate customer, manufacturer, vendor and supplier relationships
Proficient with computer operation / usage
Strong verbal and written communication skills
