We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will work with minors, providing therapeutic interventions and support to help them overcome various challenges. This role involves collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals, educators, and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Conduct assessments to determine the rehabilitation needs of each minor.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with other professionals.
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions, including physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
- Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to care.
- Educate families on strategies to support the child’s development and rehabilitation at home.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric rehabilitation.
- Participate in team meetings and case conferences to discuss and review patient progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
Qualifications:
- LMSW, LCPC, LGSW or CPRP required
- Strong knowledge of pediatric rehabilitation techniques and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
- CPR and First Aid certification (preferred).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.67 - $30.98 per hour
