What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Advocacy position at DevRev?
In Customer Advocacy At DevRev, you will play a crucial role in fostering a customer-centric culture within the organization. This position requires a passion for customer advocacy & marketing, content creation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across various teams.
You must be local to Austin, TX or Palo Alto, CA and willing to be onsite 2-3 days per week.
Responsibilities:
1. Identify Strategic Priorities:
- Determine key areas for customer engagement and target audiences.
- Collaborate with the Customer Success team to analyze user data and identify customer champions and detractors.
2. Innovative Engagement Approaches:
- Utilize usage metrics and automation to engage customer champions and address detractors.
- Plan and execute innovative approaches through social, events, webinars, press engagements, and conferences to maximize impact.
- Build our Community Engagement plan and ensure ongoing engagement across our own and other community forums enhance DevRev's reach and presence.
3. Create and lead Customer Recruitment Strategies:
- Develop and implement strategies to recruit and nurture customer advocates.
- Drive revenue growth by strategically engaging with customers to increase user adoption.
- Create and drive incentive strategies that provide customer’s opportunities to expand their own reach and enrich themselves professionally.
4. Build scalable ways to engage with and across customer groups:
- Grow user reviews and manage a scalable reference program.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop compelling messaging and leverage modern ways to generate content that resonates in the market.
- Develop and curate experience surveys to gather valuable feedback to drive improvements in customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a customer advocacy or customer success role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze customer feedback and derive actionable insights.
- Familiarity with product development processes is a plus.
- Strong understanding of the go-to-market function.
- Passion for creating exceptional customer experiences.
