Warehouse Worker

Job Responsibilities

· Manage Baler Room

· Inspect bales are uniform and troubleshoot issues with bales.

· Visually inspect compactor area, controls, counter, and fingers to make sure they are in proper working order and free from debris.

· Always consult with the operation manual before ever operating, repairing, servicing, or conducting maintenance on the units. Perform lock out tag out procedures as specified in the operations, safety, and maintenance manual. Do not manually override any of the automatic control sequences of the equipment. Do not perform any maintenance without using the proper lock out tag out procedures

· Report inventory of baler wire on hand to avoid running out.

o Manage broken or left-over baler wire and recycle as necessary.

· Manage baler operation and safety.

· Oversee compliance concerns.

· Troubleshoot faults.

· Provide a safe, clean, and hazardous free environment.

o Keep area clean.

o Manage area around baler.

o Vacuum off rafters and surrounding walls when necessary.

· Repair and maintain console and bin inventory.

· Sort and maintain inventory of bins for customer deployment.

· Manage pallets of destruction and schedule additional labor to destroy material in a timely manner.

· Manage media destruction. Prepare and schedule disposal of media.

· Properly store tools, brooms, shovels, and other equipment needed in the baler room and maintain them in good repair.

· Manage cardboard and store safely in a designated area. Schedule pickup of cardboard bales when necessary.

· Manage Ecycle and computer equipment. Recycle and dispose of inbound equipment as necessary.

· Load bales onto fiber reclaim trailer.

· Schedule fiber reclaim trailer swap and communicate any concerns or issues.

· In House Shredder

· Manage and schedule the destruction of plant based material.

· Assist with customer drop off shredding.

· Oversee in house shredder.

o Maintain and clean shredder and the area under shredder.

o Assist with training and observe operators.

o Keep area clear and free.

· Hard drive shredder

· Manage incoming hard drives.

o Scan and record necessary hard drives prior to destruction.

o Destroy hard drive and SATA drives.

o Maintain hard drive shredder.

o Keep area clear and clean.

· Equipment Maintenance

· Maintain Forklift.

o Maintain proper fluid levels in forklift batteries.

o Maintain charge on batteries for daily use.

o Clean and blow out components and parts keeping them free of dust and debris.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
