Overview
We are looking for an experienced and innovative Solution Architect to design and help implement systems architecture that will meet our client’s business needs. The team develops applications and website products that use data and visualizations designed to improve awareness, availability, access, and capacity to transform the way our client collects, analyzes, and uses data to ensure development outcomes are supported by evidence. The Solution Architect will join a strong team of dedicated IT specialists in the design, development, and deployment of various solutions with significant data repositories.
The Solution Architect ’s responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, NFRs, and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas in need of improvement, and guiding development teams. You should also be able to regularly update management on any developments in systems architecture projects.
Responsibilities
- Building and integrating data information systems to meet the company’s needs.
- Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend solutions to improve and enhance it.
- Resolving technical problems as they arise.
- Providing supervision and guidance to other technical teams.
- Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
- Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented.
- Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have.
- Providing updates to stakeholders on product development processes, costs, and budgets.
- Follow company and client DevSecOps guidelines to integrate and deploy changes to the solutions.
Qualifications
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for the required U.S. government security clearance for this project.
