VAX/VMS Administrator
Location: Beaverton, OR (Onsite)

System Administration & Maintenance:
- System Configuration & Management: Setting up and configuring VAX/VMS systems, including user accounts, groups, and system resources.
- Software Management: Installing, updating, and managing VAX/VMS software, including operating system patches, software upgrades, and new releases.
- Performance Tuning: Monitoring system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing performance optimization measures to ensure efficient operation of manufacturing applications.
- Security Management: Implementing and maintaining system security measures to protect sensitive manufacturing data and applications.
- Backup and Recovery: Implementing and managing backup and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and system availability.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosing and resolving system problems and performance issues related to VAX/VMS and PROMIS systems.
Software Development & Support:
- DCL Scripting: Developing and maintaining DCL (Digital Command Language) scripts for automating system tasks and managing manufacturing processes.
- Application Support: Providing technical support to users of PROMIS and other manufacturing applications running on VAX/VMS.
