This position is designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within the retail trade industry, providing hands-on experience under the guidance of experienced technicians. The primary end result of this role is to enhance customer satisfaction through efficient and timely service repairs. As an apprentice, you will develop technical skills and knowledge that are essential for a successful career in appliance service repair. Ultimately, your contributions will help maintain the high standards of service that our customers expect and deserve.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- Clean driving record
- Ability to pass drug test
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a technical or service-related role.
- Certification in a relevant technical field.
- Familiarity with retail operations and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing and repairing appliances in customer’s homes
- Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure all appliances are in good working condition.
- Document service activities and maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance.
- Interact with customers to understand their service needs and provide updates on repair status.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance technical skills and knowledge of industry best practices.
