What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-Time Receptionist position at DeWaard & Bode INC?
DeWaard & Bode is Whatcom & Skagit counties largest local appliance retailer and we are looking for an additional part-time Receptionist to expand our reception team at our Meridian St retail store in Bellingham! Strong candidates for this position are professional, customer service oriented, have excellent multitasking skills, can effectively manage stress, are friendly/sociable, and have strong interpersonal communication. You must be able to work weekends and evenings!
General Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional front-line customer service to customers in the store and over the phone
- Direct call traffic to the intended recipient using a basic multi-line phone system, taking accurate and detailed messages when necessary
- Have proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially in Word and Excel
- Able to maintain simple stock counts and order office supplies as necessary
- Liaison to Store Manager/Accounting Dept. for any other projects that may come up
- Maintain a high level of organization in work processes such as filing, taking notes, etc...
- Responsible for running basic office duties in a smooth, professional and efficient manner
- Make a positive contribution to the well-being of the workplace and promote the DeWaard and Bode corporate culture
