What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rack Line Operator- 2nd and 3rd Shift position at DeWayne's Quality Metal Coatings?
ABOUT THE ROLE:
Works independently to keep racks filled with parts. Removes parts from racks and replaces back in container as required by performing the following duties
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Removes parts from containers and hangs parts on rack.
- Hand plate parts per the line operating instruction book.
- Removes parts from racks after plating operation is completed and visually inspects for quality.
- Stacks parts in containers for shipment.
- Places racks in appropriates rack holder as required for various parts.
- Process maintenance as assigned by supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Reliable, productive, individual who can follow rules and directions
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- A positive attitude
- Willingness to work overtime
- Passion for safety
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Previous fork lift experience preferred, but not required
- Ability to train on first shift for approximately two weeks before starting third shift
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or GED
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a drug screen and back ground check
- Authorized to work in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $11.00 - $14.00 per hour
