Dewberry is currently seeking a Project Manager in support of Lidar elevation data and imagery acquisition, remote sensing, and geospatial mapping and technology solutions for federal, state, local, and commercial clients. This position will be based out of one of our Virginia (Fairfax), Florida (Tampa), or North Carolina (Raleigh) offices. Project management activities will include coordination and communication with clients to help define project goals and scope; coordinating with subconsultant partners to build effective teams; developing compelling technical approaches and cost estimating for proposals; and effectively coordinating across internal acquisition, technology, and production teams to meet client outcomes and deliverable commitments.
Responsibilities will include developing client and partner relationships, connecting client needs with Dewberry services and solutions, and managing project teams to deliver within scope, schedule, budget, and quality. The successful candidate will have experience in geomatics, GIS, and remote sensing; preferred experience in survey technology including lidar and photogrammetry; with experience in topo-bathymetric lidar or acoustic sonar technologies a plus. External and internal coordination will require strong writing and communication skills in support of geospatial pursuit proposal development, project management, and developing high quality mapping, studies, and reporting deliverables. The ideal candidate is an attentive, organized, client-focused professional who understands deadline-driven work and is a self-starter who helps define and deliver the client's expected outcomes.

This position will be managed within our Geospatial Technology Services (GTS) group that supports Dewberry's geospatial, lidar, remote sensing, mapping, and GIS technology solutions nationally within federal, state, local, and commercial markets. This position is part of our Project Management Office, that collaborates within our large national geospatial practice and supports local offices, strategic pursuits, and collaborates within a team environment.

Responsibilities
Work with our business development team to coordinate with clients and partners and help position for pursuits.
- Work with our proposal teams to develop compelling solutions for geospatial project needs.
- Prepare task order proposals including technical proposal, cost proposal, schedule of deliverables.
- Setup and abide by project controls within Dewberry systems (e.g., Deltek Vantagepoint, MS Project for the Web).
- Coordinate with subcontractors and work with our team to setup requisitions and purchase orders to manage their work.
- Review and manage project risks with the client.
- Manage deliverable quality within scope, schedule, and budget.
- Draft client invoices and manage through collection.
- Effectively communicate with stakeholders and respond to client feedback.
- Represent the firm appropriately with teaming partners and subcontractors, at conferences, and business networking opportunities.
Required Skills & Required Experience
Preferred :
USGS 3DEP, 3DHP, 3DNTM programs; Elevation Derived Hydrography.
Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and ability to pass a driving record background check.
