Job Description
Dewberry is currently seeking a Highway Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 to join our Mount Laurel, NJ office in our Highway Engineering Department.
This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and talented individual to be part of a project team and be part of the design of roadways systems following AASHTO, State and municipal design standards.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include design and preparation of contract documents for roadway improvement projects for various clients including the NJDOT, NJ Turnpike Authority, counties, and various other public and private sector clients.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Pursuing BS in Civil Engineering required.
- Prior engineering internship or summer work experience preferred.
- Familiarity with NJDOT and NJTA design standards and practices preferred.
- Familiarity with AASHTO and MUTCD preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office software, AutoCAD and/or Microstation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in team environment.
