Dewberry is currently seeking a Land Development Engineer in our Charlotte, NC office. As part of our site / civil team, you will make an impact in the community by helping our clients solve their most challenging problems. Typical projects involve site / civil design for commercial and industrial site development, higher education, parks & recreation and capital improvement projects, water and wastewater, and roadways. Responsibilities :
- Site / civil development including grading design, utility design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
- Preparation of all associated calculations, reports and spreadsheets.
- Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- Conduct code research, write specifications, and obtain permitting.
