Job Description
Dewberry is currently seeking a Site/Civil Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 in our Raleigh, NC office to assist in a variety of projects for clients within the commercial and government sector. The work will include site/civil design for residential, commercial and industrial site development and capital improvement projects.
A housing stipend may be provided to eligible candidates.

Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of site/civil development including grading design, roadway design, storm water management systems design, and erosion and sediment control design.
- Working on design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- May also conduct code research, and assist with specifications
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Pursuing a B.S. in Civil Engineering required
- Previous internship experience preferred
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Water CAD, and Storm CAD is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft office is required
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment

Program Information
Summer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.

- Summer-long group project where interns work alongside firm leaders to address issues that will impact our future strategy.
