Dewberry has an immediate opening in our Nashville, TN office for a Staff Engineer - Electrical Engineer with 2-4 years of design experience in electrical light and power systems, fire alarm systems, for commercial, industrial and institutional facilities.healthcare systems, and Infrastructure support.

Responsibilities
- Support the Lead and Senior Electrical Engineers to develop schematic and construction drawings, assist with code analysis and cost estimates to meet project requirements.
- Serve as the Electrical Project Engineer for small projects and coordinate work with all disciplines.
- Attend meetings and prepare minutes of meeting.
- Conduct site visits and field inspections of electrical systems.
- Assigns tasks to and coordinate with technicians or administrative staff.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree (Preferably passed EIT).
- Applicants should have a minimum of 2 years direct experience in related electrical engineering design.
- Proactive personality with solutions-based approach to problem solving.
- Possess good written and verbal communication skills (English language) and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit required.
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel (Microsoft Office) required.
- PE license is not required but is plus.
- Valid Driver’s License is required.
