Dewberry is currently seeking an exceptional candidate with 5-10 years of experience to serve as a Hydrologic and Hydraulic/Water Resources Engineer to work in our Eastern, Central, or Western PA locations. This candidate should have experience on floodplain studies and H&H Reports for Penn DOT projects. Candidates will analyze and review hydrologic and hydraulic models and computations for bridge replacement projects and write the Hydrologic and Hydraulic Reports.

Responsibilities
- Perform site visits to confirm existing conditions and document past flood history.
- Conduct and review hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, using a variety of techniques and models (e.g., HEC-HMS, regression equations, gage analyses, HEC-RAS, FLO 2D).
- Prepare written reports, documenting the hydrologic and hydraulic analyses for the existing conditions, proposed bridge or culvert replacement and any temporary construction conditions.
- Perform quality reviews of H&H studies performed by others.
- Prepare any necessary Chapter 105 or 404 permit applications for the project.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering, with emphasis in water resources.
- 5 to 10 years of water resources-related experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of hydrology and open channel hydraulics.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with the client.
- Proficiency in basic MS Office software.
- E.I.T. certification required, PA P.E. preferred.
- Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) desired.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team player.
- Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required.
