Dewberry is currently seeking a Water Resources Engineering Intern for Summer 2025 to join our Bloomfield, NJ office.

Responsibilities
- Assist with drainage design calculations for roadway storm sewer systems.
- Hydrologic and/or hydraulic analyses for bridges, culverts and waterways.
- Preparation of plans.
- Preparation of design reports and permit applications.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- Pursuing a BS degree in Civil or similar engineering is required.
- Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, floodplain delineation, storm water management, culvert and bridge hydraulics, and drainage design.
- Previous internship experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Proficiency in MS Office software.
- Ability to work in a team environment.

Summer Intern Program
During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
