Now Hiring: Housekeeping & Facility Attendant (Full-Time) – Dewees Island, SC

Location: Dewees Island (20-minute private ferry ride from Isle of Palms)

The Dewees Island Property Owners Association is hiring a Housekeeping and Facility Attendant to help manage the cleanliness, organization, and basic upkeep of our guest accommodations and community buildings. This full-time, hands-on role is perfect for someone with housekeeping experience who’s also comfortable with light maintenance, outdoor work, and working independently in a unique, natural setting.

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and reset 4 guest rental suites
• Housekeeping for offices, nature center, and clubhouse
• Wash linens and restock supplies
• Clean golf carts and place them out for rentals
• Keep walkways and decks tidy
• Light maintenance and repairs
• Report any issues and support general facility upkeep

You’re a Great Fit If You:

• Have housekeeping experience (required)
• Enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor tasks
• Are dependable and detail-oriented
• Can work independently and stay on schedule
• Don’t mind working weekends or holidays when needed
• Are okay with a ferry commute to a beautiful island

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a drug screening and background check
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Please note: this is a local hire only. Candidates must already live within commuting distance of the Isle of Palms. Relocation is not offered for this position.
