Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. As a Veterinary Receptionist you will be the first point of contact for our clients and their beloved pets. Your role will involve providing exceptional customer service, scheduling appointments, managing client records, and assisting with various administrative tasks as well as veterinary assent work as well . Responsibilities:
- Receptionist work
- Greet clients and their pets with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from clients
- Collect and update client information in the database
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Process payments and handle financial transactions
- Provide general information about pet care, services, and products
- Assist with inventory management of supplies
-The days we are looking for are Monday 8a-4,pTuesdsy 8a-2p ,Wednesday 8a-2p,Friday 8a-4p Saturday 8a-3p With Sunday and Thursday off
-must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Skills:
- Knowledge of pet care and animal husbandry practices
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques in a veterinary setting
- Understanding of veterinary critical care procedures
- Ability to handle dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments
- Basic knowledge of animal physiology and behavior
- Experience in kennel management or dog training is a plus
- Proficient in using computer systems for data entry and record keeping
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
