This position plays a key role in the final stages of our production process, ensuring our products are finished to perfection.
Job Description:As a Paint Room Craftsman, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to preparing and finishing cabinets with high attention to detail. You will contribute directly to the production of painted and stained cabinetry, helping to create products that meet our high standards of quality.
Duties:- Perform scuff sanding to prepare surfaces for finishing
- Wipe stains and ensure even coverage on cabinetry surfaces
- Spray stains and paints with precision and care
- Conduct thorough quality control to ensure every piece meets our high standards
- Off-load the hang line or flat line efficiently and with care
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Keep the paint room and work area clean, organized, and efficient
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform other duties as needed to support production
- Strong attention to detail with a passion for finishing and quality control
- Proficiency in scuff sanding, stain wiping, and spraying stains and paints
- Ability to off-load the hang line or flat line with precision
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Experience in a manufacturing or cabinet finishing environment preferred
