What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trust Operations Assistant position at DeWitt Bank & Trust Co.?
DeWitt Bank & Trust Co. is seeking a detail oriented individual to join our Trust Department.
A qualified candidate will possess or be capable of learning a wide variety of duties and be responsible for performing daily trust operations including:
- Processing of incoming and outgoing correspondence
- Respond to client, attorney, accountant, and other interested parties’ inquiries and requests
- Maintenance of account administration
- Trust account transaction processing
- Execution of investment transactions
- Internal and external transactions, asset holdings, tax and court reporting
- Cash receipts and disbursements
- Trust account document file maintenance
- Investment, custodial, and cash account reconcilement and other internal control procedures
- General understanding of estates, trusts and other fiduciary capacities
Job Qualifications Include:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of computer applications
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment
