Receptionist

DeWitt Eyecare is seeking a dynamic, compassionate and experienced Receptionist to help our growing office serve the needs of our patients. A caring and friendly personality that displays the brand value and reputation is of highest importance.

The Receptionist is responsible for welcoming all new and existing patients to the practice. This position plays a key role in creating a personalized eyecare experience.

Repsonsibilites:

• Organize pertinent patient information (current demographics, insurances, invoices, etc.) in a complete and expedient manner
• Demonstrates expert ability in communicating with patients the purpose of each test and its importance to their eye health
• Attending to current patient needs/wants as stated within the mission statement
• Patient traffic flow manager ensuring patients are seen in a timely fashion
• Preps encounters based upon patient complaint and previous findings (if available)
• Ensures proper testing is performed depending upon patient signs and symptoms and what the doctor recommended based upon existing patient records
• Capture and properly inputs pre-examination data including chief complaint(s), current medications, medical history, and pretesting room data
• Seek training opportunities to further enhance patient experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $16.50 per hour
