The DeWitt Board of Education is seeking an Arkansas licensed Superintendent of Schools who is:
An experienced, visionary administrator who is fiscally responsible with experience in the areas of school finance, school law, budgeting, and facilities management. A confident individual who is detail oriented, organized, and stays current with state education policies.
A strong academic leader who is knowledgeable about curriculum and instruction and places emphasis on improved academic growth. An individual who will support the Professional Learning Community (PLC) programs that leads to increased student achievement, along with promoting career and technical opportunities for students. An innovative leader who encourages a balance between curricular and extracurricular activities.
An effective communicator and collaborator who is approachable and demonstrates strong oral and written communication skills. A person who exhibits positive people skills by listening, building trust, and is visible among all district stakeholders. A leader who will become vested in the community and strive to build cohesive relationships between the school district and district patrons. An individual who will positively promote the excellent educational opportunities available in the Dewitt School District.
