What You’ll Do
- Perform MIG welding on a wide variety of custom metal parts
- Work from blueprints, work instructions, and job travelers to meet specifications
- Set up, tack, and finish welds with a focus on quality and consistency
- Collaborate with the team to solve fitment or welding challenges on custom jobs
- Use grinders, clamps, and fixtures to ensure precision and cleanliness
- Conduct self-inspection and ensure work meets quality standards
- Maintain a proficient pace while ensuring safe and accurate welds
- Show up every day ready to learn, work hard, and contribute
- Experience with MIG welding in a job shop or contract manufacturing setting
- Strong understanding of welding symbols and blueprint reading
- Ability to work on a variety of parts, materials, and thicknesses
- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Experience with grinding, fitting, and fabrication tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- A solid track record of reliable attendance

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous welding experience in a production environment.
- Possess your own weld helmet.
- Understanding of metals, basic fabrication processes, welding robots, and welding & grinding equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
- Able to use measurement tools & equipment
- Willing to work overtime as necessary
- Certified Welding Technician is a plus!
