Duties include performing QC assays and maintaining lab organization and cleanliness. Has knowledge of wet chemistry and instrumentation analysis including pH, conductivity, UV-Vis spectrophotometry, atomic absorption, Karl Fischer, and Osmolality. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision and typically reports to a supervisor or manager. 4-6 Years of Experience.Performs routine release testing of raw materials and drug products. The testing is routine but will not be the same every day. There is opportunity to both apply and learn various instrumentation and chemical analyses. This role enables uninterrupted delivery of products for patients.Experienced with simple instruments (pH, conductivity, TOC, Osmolality) and wet chemistry experience.Comfortable with handling chemicals and following established safety practices.Experienced with or minimally aware of pharmacopoeia such as USP-NF, EP, JP, ChP.Knowledgeable with cGMP testing.Previous chemistry lab experience is preferred or minimally has a chemistry education / background and is able to learn quickly.
