Job Summary:
Dexian is seeking a Front End Application Developer for an opportunity with a client located in Stamford, CT.
Responsibilities:
- You will primarily be developing user interfaces in C#, ASP.NET Core and Blazor. These interfaces provide our businesses with the tools to disseminate market information across a range of financial products including Currency Options, Equity Derivatives, Commodity Derivatives and Bonds
- Part of the workload will be extending and adapting existing C# and XML based systems, but there is a green-field opportunity to develop new browser based software solutions
- You will be part of a small team of specialist developers located across Tradition's offices in London, New York, Stamford and Madrid. The team provides highly customizable and flexible solutions to support the business. This includes both real-time trading applications and post trade solutions and services
- The working environment is often fast paced and the individual we are looking for will be highly motivated; have an ability to problem-solve and work well under pressure. They will also be expected to manage projects independently and liaise with other internal teams
Requirements:
- Experience of working in a software development role
- C# / ASP.NET Core / Blazor
- XML / XSL / JSON
- HTML5 / JavaScript / CSS
- Financial markets (esp. derivative products) - advantageous
- Regulatory Reporting (MIFID2 / SEF) - advantageous
- Oracle databases, PL/SQL - advantageous
- GIT/SVN - advantageous
