Job Title: Patient Access Specialist
Under the general supervision of an Operations Manager, we are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Specialist to provide advanced services to patients, providers, and caregivers on behalf of patients for a specific manufacturer-sponsored program or set of programs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, medical billing and coding, benefits verification, healthcare, business administration, or similar vocations. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Provides advanced services to patients, providers, and caregivers, including billing and coding support, claims assistance, tracking, and submission, prior authorization assistance, and coordination of benefits.
- Responds to customer inquiries, resolves complaints, and escalates issues as necessary.
- Maintains confidentiality and handles sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless program execution.
- Works independently and as part of a team to meet program objectives.
