Job Summary
The Senior Manager of Inventory and Production Planning will lead the development and implementation of effective production, purchase, capacity, and inventory plans based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints across all plants and suppliers.
This role will support management with supply and labor risk assessments, mitigation plans, and what-if scenarios. The senior manager will also coordinate, organize, and oversee all activities involved in the mid to long-term planning of labor, inventory, capacity, and production for finished goods, WIP, and raw materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee supply planning across the network locations and work centers, including all inter-company transfers.
- Establish performance metrics for measuring, comparing, or evaluating factors affecting supply, production, capacity, inventory, and inter-company transfer planning.
- Monitor and measure adherence to production and purchase plans as defined in the S&OP process.
