This Java Application Maintainer position involves working closely with our development teams to maintain and optimize critical applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting production issues, ensuring system stability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Application Support & Maintenance: Monitor and maintain Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch applications, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Incident Management & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to REST APIs, JSON, XML, and microservices, conducting root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions.
- Database & Performance Optimization: Support and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases, leveraging JPA and Hibernate for efficient data processing.
- Automation & Deployment: Manage containerized applications using Docker/Kubernetes and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Maven, and SonarQube for code quality monitoring.
- System Reliability & Security: Work closely with development teams to identify performance bottlenecks, optimize system processes, and ensure compliance with security best practices.
Qualifications:
- 6 years of experience in production support for Java-based applications, including Spring Boot & RESTful services.
- Strong expertise in SQL & NoSQL databases, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools for automated deployments.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis, log monitoring, and system optimization.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with a proactive problem-solving mindset.
